Notary Service Fees

Travel fees are not regulated by law and may only be charged if agreed upon in advance between the Notary and the signer. The signer should be aware that travel fees are separate from notarial fees and are not mandated by law. Travel fees start at $40.00 and may vary based on the time of day. All travel fees will be confirmed before the Notary departs for the requested service.

While Texas law mandates that state officers provide detailed billing, and though notaries are addressed differently in the statutes, we prioritize transparency. Therefore, we will always furnish a comprehensive invoice for our notary services. To ensure clarity and avoid any misunderstandings, we will discuss and confirm all fees with you before performing any notarial act. For mobile services, we will provide a clear, itemized receipt, distinctly separating notary fees from any associated travel or service expenses.

Once the ERP representative and the client agree on a fee based on the requested services, payment is required in full before the service is performed. Clients will receive a detailed invoice and receipt for all charges. Escrow or loan cancellations do not affect the obligation to pay fees.

ERP accepts Cash, Zelle, and Credit/Debit Cards as payment methods. All payment arrangements must be made in advance at the time of scheduling for buyer or seller closings.

• Pick up/Drop off documents  = $30.00 FedEx, UPS, USPS overnight, USPS Priority Mail, Lone Star Overnight, clients’ location, third party location, etc. (does not include shipping fees)
• Rush Fee = $50.00 (applies when services are requested less than two (2) hours from the time of telephone call, email, or other communication requesting service)
• Witness cost if we provide witnesses= $25.00 per witness 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Sunday-Monday); additional fees may apply after 4:01 p.m.
• Wait Fees = $30.00 per 15 minute increments [0-15, 15-30, 30-45, 45-60]
• Fuel Surcharge Fee = $25.00 (applicable outside Rowlett, Texas)
• Mileage cost: $1.10 per mile driven (applicable when over 10-mile radius or otherwise specified)
• Loan closings Buyer/Seller= $175.00 flat-rate 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m M-F; does NOT include printing closing documents or FedEx drop off. Evening and weekend closings are subject to additional fees.
• Loan closings print/scan documents = $1.00 per page
• Additional cost for Services requested 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. not specified herein = add $35.00 to mobile fee
• Additional cost for Services requested 4:01 p.m. to 9:59 p.m. not specified herein = add $50.00 to mobile fee
• Additional cost for Services requested 10:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. not specified herein = add $75.00 to mobile fee
• Cancellation advance Two (2) hours or more = No Charge
• Cancellation advance less than (2) hours = 100% of the mobile fee will apply
• Cancellation upon notary arrival =  100% of the mobile fee will apply
• Testifying in Court  8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. = $250.00    1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. = $250.00
• Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested Under 3 oz. = $20.00  Over 3oz Actual costs plus $20.00 fee
• Priority Mail Under 8 oz. = $20.00; Over 8oz Actual costs plus $20.00 fee
• Copies = $1.00 per page
• Faxes = $1.00 per page
• Toll Fees = $10.00 or Actual fee if greater than $10.00
• Parking Airport/Business/Hotel Parking =  $10.00 or Actual fee if greater than $10.00
• Printing = $1.00 per page
• Scan document to email = $1.00 per page
